Hello everyone! My name is Sayeed Arafat Rony, and this is a little story about me, my family, my education, my career, and the things I love most in life.
I was born on 6th October, 1999 in a loving family. My father, Md. Abul Kashem, is a Mathematics teacher and my biggest inspiration when it comes to education. My mother, Mst. Nurun Nahar, is the heart of our family who has always encouraged me with her endless support. I am the middle child among three brothers. My elder brother, Yeasir Arafat Roman, works as a Field Officer at PDEF, while my younger brother, Shamim Arafat Rimon, is currently studying in Honour’s first year at Govt. Titumir College.
I started my schooling at Jagatpur High School (2010–2015), where I developed a special love for Mathematics—thanks to my father’s guidance. Later, I completed my HSC from Hajigonj Model College (2015–2017). Although my results were not extraordinary back then, I didn’t give up. I moved to Dhaka for admission coaching and eventually got admitted into Dhaka College, where I pursued Mathematics for both my graduation (2018–2022) and post-graduation (2022–2023). Both journeys gave me not only knowledge but also confidence that I could achieve something meaningful in life.
My professional journey started as a Software Engineer at Egoola Limited (Oct 2022 – Nov 2023). This was my first official job, and it gave me valuable experience in the IT industry. Later, I shifted my career path and joined City Bank PLC, one of the best banks in Bangladesh, where I am currently working as a proud employee.
But that’s not all—alongside my academic and professional journey, I have always been passionate about technology. I’ve spent over two years freelancing as a Web Developer, working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel, ReactJS, NextJS, and more. It has been not only a source of income but also something I truly enjoy.
I am a 5’7” tall, curly-haired, fair-skinned guy who has always been physically active. Sadly, I don’t grow a beard, but I consider that part of my unique identity. I love playing cricket and chess, programming, blogging, traveling, hanging out with friends, riding bikes, and watching movies (I’ve seen over a thousand movies and TV series so far!).
When it comes to sports, my all-time favorite cricketer is Virat Kohli, and because of him, I’m a loyal supporter of RCB. In football, I’m a die-hard fan of Lionel Messi, Barcelona, and Argentina.
For me, nothing is more important than my family. My parents are my greatest inspiration, and my brothers are my lifelong companions. Apart from them, I have some very close friends from my school and college life who mean a lot to me. They are the ones I can trust in any situation, and after my family, they are my greatest strength.
At 26, I’m still learning, growing, and shaping my life step by step. From being a Mathematics enthusiast in school to becoming a Banker and Web Developer, my journey has been full of ups and downs—but every part of it made me who I am today. I believe in hard work, discipline, and never leaving tasks unfinished. Above all, I value loyalty, honesty, and the love of family and friends.
This is my story so far, and I look forward to writing the next chapters with even more passion and dedication. 🚀
